Hello VJs I am on K1 visa and I am here now in the US and during my interview they asked me my child

would follow before my 1 year stay here in the USA so he will be on a K2visa, what are some papers

to process and would I need another Immigration lawyer to assist this processing as its another

huge expense to pay the lawyer.thanks all

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.

Well, if your kids paper are ok,why need an immigration lawyer? I went through my K1 w/o any immigration lawyer, as long as you do intensive research of what's needed..plus VJ is pretty much helpful in the process..getting advice and suggestion. If and when its time for my kids to be here, I would still not rely on immigration lawyers help..they are only there to assist you with the papers and not on the actual process. Preparation of those documents can be done even by ordinary pepz like us...Happy Holidays in advance!
