Print out your Credit Card statement where it shows you paid for your tickets to VN.

Obtain ex-wife's address/phonebills/utility bills as proof of "I am not living with her any longer"

Should have evidence to show where your EX is now.

My ex wife wrote out a statement and had it notarize that I no longer had to pay her spousal support as of this last aug. with her address on the statement. so I think that will be ok. I would be nice if they told us in packet 3 or 4 that they need to tell the petitioner that they need to show that the Ex is no longer with them including there address. But how are you supposed to know this (after the fact that your fiancée is already at the interview)

No credit cards were harmed for any of my trips. Used debit. But it does show the travel company And the airline on my bank account statements..

Robert,

Sound good!

Here is the reason why HCMC doesn't have to tell you anything and you MUST know everything :) Your fiance and you must convince the Gatekeeper (C.O.) that you two are authentics! You watch footballs? You think they would give you their playbooks before the game start? These are some of the many tricks to spot frauds. You have nothing to worry about because it is what it is, isn't it?

I also assummed you have sent back to her ALL the letters and cards she WROTE to you and mailed to you here in the States? They want to see those cards you two send to each other! Postage receipts are good too.

About the EX, ask her to give you a copy of her License/ID, a copy of her utility bill or cable bill. JUST IN CASE!!!!!

Photos: No need to give them tons of photos. The truth is your fiance will need to have the pictures to tell the love story for her :) Organize the photos in order: Beginning - First Date - First Trip - Second Trip - Engagement - Vacation - Family gathers - Family dinner - Social Events - Recent trips together - Pictures of you send to her where you went for vacation in the US, hers in Vietnam, etc. Normal stuff like that but significant to you and her! I saw folks show up at the consulate with suit case of photo album and still get BLUE and WHITE slips! Think this way: the C.O. only has 10 mins to make his decision to approval or deny your visa. Organize and present your evidence as a marketing sale executive at a Client site meeting :) Presentation is everything!

Good luck!

Hi Robert & Van,

Congratulations on the interview date! Sounds like your bases are covered and further being checked and re-checked.

I second chuckandkim regarding the photographs. We had hundreds of photos to present, but categorized them by month and then rubberbanded them. If I recall correctly, only a few photos were looked at during the interview.

As chuckandkim said, there is little time in the actual length of the interview and the decision making process.

However, excellent advice that I received from chuckandkim before our interview was: you cannot give them what you don't have. So on that advice, we created a primary evidence stack and a further evidence stack of information should it be requested. It should be noted that the primary stack of evidence was plenty for the Consular Officer to make the decision in our case.

Best of luck to you both!

Well Just to let you all know that Van Has been really busy this last week. Van and her daughter will have there medical this Thursday. She got her single status completed. Had she had to pay 150.00 dollars to get her police records. if she didn't pay it would take 3 weeks. what BS.

Also she will go pay for there visa this week. She is in the process of selling her Home, But she needs to wait until after the interview.

I myself have done so much to my home, Getting things ready for them to move here. 20 years of collecting. And 2 of my children have moved out leaving allot of things behind. I told them if they don't want or need anything its all being donated. so far 3 truck loads. And not done yet.
