Hey everyone! I'm new to this site and I am going to be starting the K1 process in February. I just got back from living in Scotland for 6 months with my fiance. I'm having such a hard time being back in the states without him. We have been doing this long distance thing for 4 years already so I am use to having to say good bye. For some reason this time feels the hardest, any advice on how to cheer myself up?

Thanks :)

Hi there!! I know exactly how you feel. My Fiance and I have done the long distance thing for over 2 years now it's VERY hard. I just kept reminding myself WHY we were apart and there are hundreds of other people going through the same thing. We are on the last part of our K-1 journey (my interview is on Monday) and now that I look back, it has went in A LOT faster than it seems when you first start.

Just make sure you keep supporting each other and keep the communication up. It will all be worth it in the end!!

Good luck on everything and try not to stress out! lol

Skype-ing? I read about Tokii website a while ago, but never tried it though. I am already busy video calling my fiance by Skype.blush.gif

Thank you so much! It is very very hard, but it is all worth it! Wow congrats on your interview coming up. And very good luck! I was looking at your time line and your k1 process was pretty quick, about 5 months right? I hope mine goes that quick. I'm really intimidated by the whole process, but I know once I get it started it won't be that bad.

Yup just under 5 months which was a LOT quicker than we anticipated. I was soooo paranoid about getting all the paperwork perfect  Hopefully you will fly through with no problems! This is a really good place to get all your questions answered...I think I asked about 50 which I thought were stupid
