Hey everyone!! My petition I-130 was Just approved and i dont have a NVC case# yet..I was wondering if anyone would have some good advice for me?Is there anything i can do while i am waiting for my case number?

Thanks BOb!!I really appreciate this..I have a question about the DS-3032 form and the link it gives me to make the barcode.when i put the Hight and width measurements it wont let me make the barcode.If you send the DS-3032 Via email is a Barcode Required and can my Spouse send this DS-3032 before i have a NVC case number?

The DS-3032 can be emailed by the beneficiary, this wiki explains how to do that. No barcode necessary. Also, you will not be able to send it until after the NVC assigns a case number.

One more thing, if you haven't already started to, you may want start calling the NVC to see if a case number has been assigned to your file. My suggestion is to start calling one week after your NOA2 is received.

September 8, 2011: OPTIN email accepted, GZO number assigned
September 10, 2011: Emailed AOS package
September 12, 2011: IV bill invoiced
September 13, 2011: Paid IV bill (payment portal showed PAID on September 14, 2011)
September 14, 2011: Emailed IV package
October 3, 2011: Emailed checklist response (checklist generated due to typo on Form DS-230)
October 6, 2011: Case complete at NVC
November 10, 2011: Interview - APPROVED!!!
December 7, 2011: POE - Sea-Tac Airport

September 17, 2013: Mailed I-751 to CSC

September 23, 2013: Received NOA1 in mail (receipt date September 19th)

January 28, 2014: Production of new Green Card ordered

December 18, 2023:  Filed I-90 to renew Green Card

December 21, 2023:  Production of new Green Card ordered - will be seeing USCIS again every 10 years for renewal

July 23, 2025:  Filed N-400 online

Thanks for that Advice,this helps big time ..I still don't have NVC case number and i have called many times for it Lol...They just received my case on 22Nov.I was just wondering if there was anything i can do while i am waiting for this number to be issued.I have just been reading on this process and now i feel better because i have been doing all i can for now.

I would just like to
