what happened to me in kuwait before was...i didn't receive any instruction from Kuwait embassy, but instead they emailed my husband(petitioner)all the requirements step by step, and my now husband forwarded those emails to me and i contacted the embassy..actually it was pretty quick coz i got all the answers from the embassy through email..but i did pick up a letter at the embassy for my police clearance..and then as soon as i completed all my requirements i informed the embassy that i am ready for the interview and i was the one who picked a date of my interview. What made my papers to be completed in 1 month was(took a long time for me)... I am from the Philippines and i needed some documents in the Philippines to be forwarded to Kuwait Embassy, so travel time of documents was the main cause of it...but embassy's/consulate have there own rules regarding this matter..so it varies.

Now, best thing for you to do or your fiancee is call the embassy and double check the appointment if it is legitimate, or you can email them and ask them about the said coming interview..

Try to send her all the necessary documents that she'll needed in the interview as in everything...double check your checklist and all the signature portions..

Good Luck!

Thank you for the help the other night. By the time I was able to talk more with my fiance, i understood there was a misunderstanding. They called her to come and get the information at the embassy instead of them mailing it. She thought something was coming in the mail and if they called her in it was for the interview. We knew by Monday that's what it was, but I called the embassy to confirm anyway. She has all the information and the interview is set for December 27th! Thanks again.
