Hi,

Me and my fiance got enagaged in last May 2010 in pakistan. She is in US is it possible that she applied for K1 visa and after that she come to pakistan and we get married and stay here until i get Visa? there will be any problem ? will Emabassy get to know about the marriage ?

Please help because i dont want to be in any trouble initiallay.

Sure, you can get married. Then withdraw the fiancee visa petition and petition for a spouse visa. You lose the money you spent for the fiance petition and start over from the beginning

FIANCE visas are for FIANCEs! If she marries you she has NO fiance, she has a HUSBAND. Husbands need SPOUSAL visas.

Fiance visa is for fiance spouse visa is different.fiance visa is faster.so i say dont get married here.

Islamabad embassy is a difficult one at best to go thru. Don't do anything stupid like this. Either go thru with the k1 and adjust status once your married here in usa and then go back to do the Valima with the family once you have your 2 yr card.

OR like Gary said.. withdraw the k1 application and get married in pakistan and then refile with an CR1 visa petition.

THEY will find out everything.. dont risk it. Choose one option or the other!

07/25/2011 CO called did phone interview result: PENDING MANDATORY AP/CO told us they have to do namechecks

03/07/2013 Case returned to USCIS waiting for NOIR/reaffirmation

04/18/2013 USCIS received case for review

08/19/2013 Received NOIR to respond by 9/18/2013

9/9/2013 Responded to NOIR/USCIS received documents awaiting response

9/20/2013 USCIS reaffirmed sent to embassy

1/04/14 Case opened for review

8/31/15 Interview- no questions visa approved on the spot

9/8/15 visa status issued

9/10/15 visa received

9/19/15 POE Charlotte
