Timeline

I was just on Skype with Amy, she made no mention of an earthquake, she lives in Taguig City just outside of Makati. She did mention she was having a fitting on her dress though... :yes:

She might not have noticed it. Makati is over 100 miles from the epicenter, which is off the west coast.

100 miles is not far enough away to explain why people in manila and taguig are not feeling anything is it? A 6.0 would normally be felt hundreds of miles away right?

Just left The Philippines yesterday, in the USA now. My fiancee is currently in Pampanga and she slept through it. I told her "you know Philippines just had a 6.0 earthquake!?" Her response, "Really? I just woke up..." (1pm her time)

I believe it. Earthquakes are not big news in the PI. They happen all the time. Maybe the OP never heard of the Ring of Fire, except for a Johnny Cash song :lol:

ps, We're sure that Amy's dress fitting is more exciting news than a Dime-a-Dozen earthquakes in South East Asia! :whistle:
