August filer still waiting for a interview date?

Its been 3 months so far since we filed for AOS, from a overstayed b2 visa for me. I have gotten my EAD card almost 1 month now, I have a social security card, and I got my drivers permit. My husband and I are just waiting for a date for the interview. We live in New York so I know the NY office is extemely busy, but I was wondering generally how long does it take to obtain a interview date?

It can take 3-5 months for an interview notice (dated about a month before the interview). Occasionally more or less. We filed last August for AOS forms B2, and our local office was DC (similarly slow as compared to NYC, at least last year). We received our interview notice in mid-December for a mid-January interview.

I am the USC, husband is adjusting from B2.
