Email format to send mail to Embassy(Chennai) for enquiry

Hello friends,

Kindly share email format which you guys used to sent emails to embassy(chennai) to request information abt PCC.

you have to go the passport office in Chennai to get pcc for your ds-230

3-23-2011- I-130 Application Mailed to Chicago Lockbox

3-28-2011- Package Received

07-08-2011- NOA2 Status Update(Priority Date)

07-11-2011- NOA2 Hard Copy Received

8-01-2011- NVC Received

8-22-2011- NVC Case# & IIN Received by email from NVC & E-mails Exchanged (After44 Days)

8-22-2011- DS-3032 Email sent

8-24-2011- DS-3032 mail accepted

8-25-2011- Received Bill & Paid for I-864

8-28-2011- Received Bill & Paid for DS-230

8-29-2011- Paid status for I-864

8-30-2011- Paid status for DS-230

9-02-2011- I-864 Delivered At NVC

9-06-2011- DS-230 Mailed

9-08-2011- I-864 Approved

9-08-2011- DS-230 delivered at NVC

9-13-2011- DS-230 Approved & Case completed

11-10-2011-Interview date!!!!!!!!!12-13-2011

11-23-2011- Medical completed

12-13-2011- Interview date....Approved today...........:)

you have to go the passport office in Chennai to get pcc for your ds-230

hi shitalhiren0803,

did u send only PCC from passport office along with DS 230. some are telling like get PCC from local police station. this is confusing me.

For my fiance going through Mumbai consulate, they just want the Passport Office PCC, not the local one. He received a local one about 6 - 7 months ago before he knew that only the one from the Passport Office was required, but he was thinking to include it anyways - just for added evidence, but it's not necessary.

Hope this helps and I hope you have better luck than we did getting an electronic response from your embassy -- they don't seem to respond to us other than an auto-reply which didn't answer our questions. Keep in mind though, our question was not regarding the PCC but something else all together different.

Visa in hand: 05/20/2015 (Yay!) ELIS Fee ($165) paid this day as well

SSN card received: 6/8/2015 (processed on 6/2/2015) // ELIS shows "Optimized" since 5/30/2015  // ELIS changed to "In Process" 07/14/2015. (E-file received 06/25/15)

GREEN CARD RECEIVED!! 7/30/2015

Sent:  3/22/2017 | $680 Check cashed: 4/3/2017

NOA1: 3/30/2017 (Rcvd 4/3/2017)

Biometrics Appt letter received: 4/22/2017 - Biometrics date:  5/3/2017 - Done. Hubby said they were super friendly in the Pittsburgh field office!
