Me and my wife filed for my I-751 2 months back. But since then too many conflicts and I see a divorce scenario creeping up. Just worst case, if she doesn't support me till the end and I need to file a waiver application, what documents I can try to gather, to make sure that my petition is strong as I did everything in good faith. She has a psychiatric/drug abuse history and I was wondering if having records of that will help me prove ?. Any recorded statement of her, admitting some of the fault for all this ?. I have no support and being with her has also ruined my career so I need to win my petition. Can hiring a professional lawyer be of great help or it doesn't matter ?. Based on your experience what factor can play a big role in deciding case in my favor

Also if at all we file for a divorce, do I still need to stay with him for sometime ?. If I am not emotionally stable after dvorce, can I go back to my country and file waiver from there or request extension of my GC more than 1 yr, till I get mental/financial stability and start waiver application ?

Thanks a lot
