my husband recently sent the ds-230 and i-864 on the same day, but separately..yesterday we both got a email from nvc which was for RFE ..they wrote that they got our ds-230 but didnt get our affidavit of support form..what does that mean ? is it something normal ? n how long it might take for them to get it inshaAllah ?and say that its a case complete inshaAllah ?

It is usually a False RFE. It usually takes about 1-2 weeks to get a case completed after you send in the documents. I think it takes them 6 business days to review your 864. You should call NVC Friday and ask if it is a real RFE or a fake one.

May 24, 2011 NOA1

Sept 11, 2011 NOA2-took 19 days to get case number

Sept 30, 2011 NVC number and IIN received Friday-gotta wait till Monday

Oct 13, 2011 Case Completed- 13 days from receiving case number Took 32 days from NOA2

Nov 30, 2011 Notified of Interview date

January 19, 2012 Interview- 240 days from NOA1

INTERVIEW RESULTS-APPROVED WITH 14 WEEKS AP--but he got his visa in 56 days!!!!!!
