So, the embassy called my fiancée to inform him that our interview was moved from Monday to Sunday the 27th, due to elections happening on Monday. Thank God my flight arrives Saturday night!

Anyways, if anyone has interviews scheduled that day or next week, I suggest contacting the embassy to confirm the appointment.

I wondered why they had no interviews scheduled sunday! Can u tell me... On the embassy interview website, what do they have your interview scheduled as? It is not listed as K1 so what did they list it as? Cr1 or 2? Thanks and good luck at your interview!

Sept 11, 2011 NOA2-took 19 days to get case number

Sept 30, 2011 NVC number and IIN received Friday-gotta wait till Monday

Oct 13, 2011 Case Completed- 13 days from receiving case number Took 32 days from NOA2

Nov 30, 2011 Notified of Interview date

January 19, 2012 Interview- 240 days from NOA1

INTERVIEW RESULTS-APPROVED WITH 14 WEEKS AP--but he got his visa in 56 days!!!!!!

Good Luck! I really hope they dont close the embassy again- the clashes are getting worse! And to think they just started working on their backlog!

I have no idea. All I know is they had scheduled us for Monday and now is Sunday. We're a K-1. They haven't updated the website. We were assigned an interview last week due to several cancellations. So they moved us up to not cause any more delays.
