Getting Police Certificate

Quick question: I understand my fiancee will need police clearance/certificate from where she has lived for more than six months since 16? She has lived in Abuja and now back in Lagos (main residence), does that mean she needs police clearance from both states? Isn't the clearance a country based, so should just be for Nigeria as a whole? Is it even a further stretch if we mention states that she did her education? Now one of the DS156 forms (i might be wrong) requires you list all your addresses, I guess this will backup the police reports?

Please chime in..

You should go to FCID Alagbon close,Victoria Island Lagos to collect police certificate.

Thks, but sorta knew that already.. the part that I'm wondering is would that police certificate cover all living years in Nigeria or is it just Lagos or whatever state?

Force CID at Alagbon issues just one police character certificate, and that will cover any states ur fiance had lived in Nigeria. Only one certificate is issued at Alagbon even if he/she had spent 2yrs in Abuja, 5years in Jos and mayb 1yr in Lagos. I hope you get this?
