Hi everyone,

managed to get my interview date changed for the us embassy in London. My original date was December 9. 2011

Called the number on the website on Saturday and was given an email address to send my request to.

Emailed them that same day and received my reply at 10 am today Monday, my interview date has been changed to 1st December and a new letter is on its way to me.

Only VJ's will understand the difference 8 days make at this point in the journey.

Was so relieved to get December that I immediately booked a hotel anyway and train tickets so can't move it anyway LOL!! To be honest though, getting the 2nd December was beyond my wildest imaginings so I'm happy with that. But yes, eight days....a whole world of difference. Kind of wish mine was this week instead of next :/

Glad to hear they are efficient at making the date changes. I got my interview date last night for Dec 21st, but have emailed them to request it in January (I'm away for Christmas this year!), so hopefully will hear back tomorrow when the office opens again after thanksgiving!
