Yes! I know that is much faster than the USCIS "processing time" but there have been other October filers that were approved in January (after only 3 months)! You never know how fast or slow they are going to work, i guess!

Thanks! My fiance was with me when I got the e-mail and I think I about knocked his tooth out when I jumped on him! haha!

nice thread for us ayisien.

After NOA2, does USCIS send the packet to Haiti or does the petitoner has to send it? What's needed at the embassy for the interview? For those who have been through the process, what are some typical questions?

As we are looking out for each other, please stay away from Myhaiti Mobile. These guys are thieves. They take your money and provide no service. When you call to complain, they hang the phone on you. Do a search on them and you will find many complaints...

They used to be good before June of last year...

Hi! If you have citizenship (legal)in the DR you will have to file there. If not your husband will file with the US Embassy in Haiti. Good luck!

Hello! Once your case is complete at the NVC they will send it to the US Embassy in Haiti. Once it arrives you can call or email them to get packet 3 emailed to you.

Here are some of the steps for the consulate:

http://www.visajourney.com/consulates/index.php?ctry=Haiti&cty=Port-au-Prince

See some of the reviews here:

http://www.visajourney.com/reviews/index.php?cnty=Haiti

Some of the questions are:

Who is sending for you?

How did you meet?

Parents / childrens names?

Where does the petitioner work and live?

I hope this helps. Good luck my case should be in Haiti shortly.

Hi Everyone!

My husband and I have been on the same road as you. We started our fiancé visa process in May 2009, he arrived in the US for Christmas 2009 and we married 2 months later. We've been married for 2 wonderful years and are in the process of removing the conditions on his status. It's been a very smooth and expedient process. We'd love to help any of you if we can, as well as to hear your stories. Blessings on your roads to happiness with your future spouses. :)
