There you go. Your situation is kinda unusual for the rest here. Most peeps fly to meet their partners face to face. I assume there's other way there to document the people that crosses the border. There should be. If you can get that kind of paper, then it could be as good as passport. Hopefully we'll get an answer from Tijuanans who have been through your situation.

By the way when you take pictures, include her families, digital date in it, do it on a famous landmark in the area.

Happy New Year!

How about pictures? Did you submit pictures when you filed the petition? I'm sure you must have some pictures of the two of you together with your son. Pictures that have other family members (yours or hers) in them with either of you are also a big bonus. In my opinion, a picture's worth a thousand words.

Aside from that things like correspondence between the two of you - phone records, emails or anything else you can think of could also help. Any kind of correspondence from family or friends that address you two as a couple is also good.

I am not sure what your situation is and what you submitted, but a declaration under oath might be enough. There is a big difference between saying you have seen her, and stating so under penalty of perjury. You might want to include photos and a statement under penalty of perjury as to the dates of the photos.

How long do you have to send back the RFE? You could try asking at the border for records of your crossings. However, they might not give them to you. You can request them in writing, but it might take longer than you have to return the RFE. If you don't get it in time before you have to send the RFE back, include a copy of your records request along with any other evidence to show you are trying to get the records to prove your crossings: http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/uscis/menuitem.eb1d4c2a3e5b9ac89243c6a7543f6d1a/?vgnextchannel=34139c7755cb9010VgnVCM10000045f3d6a1RCRD&vgnextoid=34139c7755cb9010VgnVCM10000045f3d6a1RCRD

Photos of you together during the 2 year time frame with her friends and family in some of them, if you have any of those. Receipts from shopping there, hotels, cab rides, ATM withdrawals, etc. Anything that shows you were there during those times. Anything at all you might have received at the border crossing. Notarized affidavits from witnesses that saw the two of you together during those 2 years. Phone records, including any from while you were there, chat logs and emails discussing your trips before and after they occurred.

You could also make an INFO pass appointment and tell them about your situation. Ask them what evidence you could provide to satisfy the 2 year meeting rule.

Good luck!
