We've checked several times on the USCIS website for shane's case status only to receive this message, "Your case can not be found at this time in My Case Status. Please check your receipt number and try again. If you need further assistance, please call the National Customer Service Center at 1.800.375.5283"

We call the service center to inquire as to the status of his case and verify if the case numbers we have are correct and they say they're find, but can't give us a reason as to why we can't view the cases status on the website. Anyone else having the same issues? He's already done his biometrics beginning of Oct. We're just anxious (just like everyone else LOL) to get this over with.

You may never see the case status online. This is a common issue and is posted about almost daily on VJ. You cannot rely on USCIS online case status checker. Often even if your case shows up it is never updated or it is updated incorrectly.

We received our case number (s)about the 2nd or 3rd week of Sept. Shane's already been for his biometrics on 4 Oct. We still can't see any status on the USCIS site, it just says "Case cannot be found..blah blah blah"

He called last week and they said he should be receiving his EAD and AP this week. Here's to hoping the greencard interview and card will soon follow.

We had the same problem, when we were waiting for my K-1 visa. The case appeared online only after the approval.
