Hi all,

When are the Police Clearance Certificates required? Are they to be sent to the NVC or are they sent with the pre-interview documents to the embassy?

Thanks!

you should send it with the ds-230 original(translate) keep the copy and bring it to the interview

The certificate is for NVC process, send all originals to them but keep copies to bring for the interview smile.gifsmile.gifsmile.gif

Do you really send originals to the NVC? Marriage and birth certs. etc? I was under the impression certified copies were required.

I didn't send the certified copies, just originals and copies to the NVC and they were ok with it. We can ask the originals back at the consulate after we are interviewed smile.gifsmile.gifsmile.gif
