Since my last post about the NVC forwarding our case to Guanzhou, and following many of the responses I got in regards to what to expect next,we were excited when a few responses said we should be getting an interview date fairly soon. Well....today I received package from NVC with someone elses documents along with one document that actually belonged to me which is the packet 3 supplemental information sheet that GUZ requested. This was actually mailed to NVC from the applicant,my wife's son, from China.Don't know why I got this but there was a cover letter stating that our case is no longer in NVC's possession and to bring All attached documents to the interview, when scheduled of course. Now,keep in mind, the documents are someone else's!! What really scares me is,we already purchased tickets to China and fly out on the 9th,hoping the interview will be scheduled by the time we come back,12/28. I know we should not have jumped the gun and purchased tickets, but reading many postsit looked really good as far as the timeline. Sorry for the long post but, does anyone have any info regarding something like this? Thanks in advance.

NVC made a mistake.

Sorry.

Call in, get a supervisor, explain all, ask for more clarification.

Ask them to also rework the casefile, and make yet another determination for 'what is what'.

It's a FUBAR, some junior-level clerk mussed you up, much.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.
