Me and my kids stayed at Casa Bocobo, walk-in distance to St. Luke and only P50.00 to US Embassy. Aside from having clean and affordable rate, they have free buffet breakfast.:)

Yes, Hotel Soriente as mentioned by teapotgirl ! This is the most nearest hotel to St. Luke. I stayed there overnight when I had my medical. They have promo rate at P1,699 overnight. The hotel is clean and room is quite spacious, but. don't have breakfast.:) At Casa Bocobo, if you book ahead let say 1 month or 2 weeks before, you get only P 1,750 per night (room good for 2 persons) inclusive of buffet breakfast for 2. The hotel is clean and staff are courteous.:)

Bayview Park is just accross the embassy and maybe the closest, about P 2,800 a day. Hotel soriente is cheap, clean, and new rooms but.....the bathroom is not well ventilated in the room I stayed. Casa bocobo maybe is the right one it has very good rating.

Since the visa processing moved to a new building, Bayview Park is no longer the closest to the U.S. embassy gate, its now the Boulevard Mansion mentioned by tonetzky18 above... I would recommend this hotel for the interview... however, this is a bit walk from and to the St. Lukes Medical, I suggest CityState Hotel and Lotus Garden... it is like between Manila Embassy and St. Luke's, you do not have to pay any fare going anywhere you just have to walk a couple of blocks to both destination. It is also near 7-11, Chowking and Jollibee

Personally I have not stayed at Lotus Garden, but I have stayed at CityState Hotel several times... There are rooms that are less than P2,000 but you have to book it ahead, it has also a free breakfast...

Goodluck with your medical and interview!

Which hotel you will like is really a matter of personal taste. Casa Bocobo is popular, with a simple but delicious breakfast buffet. The rooms are new, but quite small. The Soriente has much larger rooms and I like the location better. There's a convenience store, a Pure Gold supermarket, and a BBQ chicken stand right out front.
