Wait Time on CR1 After Approval

Good evening...I have a good friend whose wife from the Philippines was approved for her CR1 visa back around October 4th during her interview with the U.S. Embassy. As of today she still has not received the physical visa. Does anyone know how long before the actual visa is mailed? I did a K1 for my fiancee back in 2007 and she got the visa delivered via courier a week after her approval. I realize K1 and CR1 have different processes, but didn't think it would take this much longer for the CR1 to be delivered after approval.

Ohhhh,they torture the married couples. They make me wish i was only engaged but then i wouldn't have my son..so ok...i'll accept that most of the k1 people that interviewed long after my husband are nice and cozy in the usa right now.

it seems to be long time to deliver to you,i don't know how EGYPT embassy works, do you have to pay for courier service or is it mailed to your address slow mail service. wait another week, call the embassy.

Apparently, my friend's wife knows a few other people in the Philippines who got spousal visa approval a few weeks before her and are still waiting for their visas as well (1.5 months since their interviews). I guess they do like to torture married couples For us, it was fiancee visa delivered in less than 7 days after the interview. So, I guess my friend needs to keep waiting. Too bad they have no clue how much longer it will be.
