After receiving my NOA2 I found out that there was a mistake on the priority date, so I called USCIS. At first they mailed me a letter saying I have to wait 60 days to hear anything from them. Then the next day I received an e-mail from USCIS stating that they have fixed the priority date and mailed a hard copy. They also stated in this e-mail that I have to contact NVC separately for this change. So I called up NVC and on their system the priority date was still not corrected and the operator told me to e-mail them. Now I received another e-mail from USCIS stating that "an amended notice" has been mailed out stating how my case will be processed and my status was changed from post decision activity back to acceptance.

Why has it been changed back to acceptance? Is this amended notice a new copy of my NOA2 with the corrected PD? So confused!

This is so strange since NVC has my case now.

Has anyone gone through this??
