my fiancee had her interview in manilla on the 10th. she still hasn't received anything in the mail saying she is approved or not. i keep reading that they tell you after the interview if you are approved or not. how long should it take for her to receive a letter. is there a phone number to call to find out?

The 10th of October? That's quite a long time ago... I believe that she should have received her answer of whether she is approved or not on the spot at the interview. Other VJers should be able to shed more light on this.

I know the next question.... did they keep her passport? I know someone more experienced will ask you this question before they give you an answer or opinion.

and you need to fill out your timeline if you are going to ask questions.

Hi there! I think you have to inquire through email at the USEM the status of her visa since that was almost 27 calendar days from interview date, unless you already knew from the start that she is under AP or AR. I just got email reply from USEM, I was also quite worried earlier because I had my interview last Oct 18 and everything went very pleasant and smooth, but until now I didn't get my visa. But then I just got info from them that my visa was printed last Oct 19, just a day after my interview but didn't send to me immediately since they just only finished printing the visa of my kids yesterday. And I think it is now ready for delivery at 2go. Yeheyyyy! Thank you Lord God!:0

So I really suggest that you make inquiry so you won't be worrying at least. Keep your faith stronger, I'm sure everything is Ok then. God bless us always

Ask your fiancee what exactly Co said after interview??are they given her some sort of blue or white slip???or co just tell her to wait for her visa,if co said she was approve then just wait,call usembasyy or try calling 2go.good luck

seems kinda long, i would ask her what they said too. could of been under review.
