Hello everyone :)

My husband and I are going to the Philippines this December and we’re planning to go to Cebu and Bohol for a week. I have been to Bohol several times so I have an idea of where to stay and what we will do (though I would welcome suggestions also). I’ve been to Cebu also but mainly for seminars and conferences so I really haven’t explored the place yet. We love the beach and historical places. Any suggestions on where to stay, what to do, etc.?

My Fiancee is from the province out from Cebu City. i have stayed at 2 different Hotels there.I never yet been to Bohol but planning to go in the Future. The 2 Hotels I stayed at was the Mango hotel and the Diplomat Hotel. of the 2 the Diplomat in my opinion was reasonable and good service. The Staff were overly friendly. You are right in the middle of everything, Robinsons Mall, a Museum, McDonalds, Jollibees, Clothing shops and many more to name right in walking distance from the Hotel! WWW.Diplomathotel-cebu.com . by the way there are many sights to see like the Holy place and more. :thumbs:

Try Alegre Resort... very beautiful place and relaxing. Would go back there again when we get a chance :) .

Hi, Im from Cebu. There are a lot of nice resorts/beaches here. It really depends on your budget. If you want a lavish & grandeur place, you can stay in Shangri-La Mactan, Hilton Hotel, Plantation Bay or Imperial Palace. I preferred Imperial Palace though. You can check out their website for comparison of rates.

I don't know if you're planning to stay in Mactan, the main island. But in case you're willing to go somewhere off the mainland, I suggest Bantayan island. It's beautiful and absolutely perfect for lovers! Think white sand, the bluest of waters, and a serene, idyllic life day after day. My husband and I absolutely loved our time there, as well as the place itself. If you're looking to get into some water sports, you probably won't enjoy staying there, though. But if a quiet time is what you seek, with days spent frolicking in the water and the sand, then you may want to check out Bantayan.

well depends on where you want to stay my fiancee is a travel agent in cebu. now best hotel is marriott becouse it's right in the center of cebu and beside the mall. but resort in cebu try the knew imperial resort. has full waterpark and slides. if your looking for a nice hotel b ut cheap try cebur hotel, or lancster condo on mactan. Bohol i rented a big spanish villa when i stayed there. I have links of all if you would like. you can also go to kasawian falls close to cebu very nice.
