Timeline

Hi everyone,

Just a quick update for people worrying about immigrations while waiting on K1.... I got to Florida today immigartions was not a problem at all...infact the man was really lovely to me!

I said i was visiting my boyfrind on holiday... he didnt even ask how long I was staying for!!

6 weeks here now YAYAYAYAY!

08-14-2006 Sent I-129F sent

09-11-2006 NOA1 Received

11-09-2006 RFE Issued

11-17-2006 RFE Arrives via Snail mail

11-27-2006 RFE Returned to visa land

01-09-2007 NOA2!!!!!!!

01-29-2007 Packet 3 Recieved

02-05-2007 Packet 3 sent to embassy

02-13-2007 Medical booked for March 12th

02-15-2007 INTERVIEW MARCH 13th

03-12-2007 medical... easy peasy!

03-13-2007 Interview.... I passed!!

03-20-2007 VISA IN HAND!

03-22-2007 FLY HOME!

04-04-07 Filled for SS #

04-05-2007 Wedding!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

04-10-2007 Marrige Cert arrived in post!

04-12-2007 Sent off

04-14-2007 Arrived in Chicago

04-23-2007 NOA1

04-23-2007 Cheque cashed

04-30-2007 Biometrics appointment May 10th

05-10-2007 Biometrics appointment.. quick and easy

K-1: Aug 12, 2006 to Jan 17, 2007 - mailed I-129F
AOS: Feb 26, 2007 - Jul 26, 2007
REMOVING CONDITIONS: May 4, 2009 - Oct 3, 2009
CITIZENSHIP: Nov 27, 2012 - May 9, 2013

Note: I immigrated from Canada, not T&T - the timeline is reflective of this.

PRESENT - IR-5 Story (reuniting a family)
I-130 for Parents - 2013
Aug ?? - mailed I-130 packages for both mother and father
Sept 10 - NOA1 date
Sept 16 - NOA1s received

2014

Feb 25 - got emails saying that the cases had been transferred to another office for processing

Feb 26 - got emails saying that the cases have been transferred to my local office for processing

Feb 28 - got emails saying that the cases have been transferred and are being processed

Mar 17 - got email, attached to one case number only, saying that my A number was changed relating to the I-130 filing

Mar 18 - got emails saying that the petitions are approved smile.png

aint it just grand when all the worry lifts off your shoulders when it comes to entering the u.s.

REMOVING CONDITIONS

11th Aug 2008 - Mailed I-751 to CSC.

12th Aug 2008 - Application received

14th Aug 2008 - Cheque cashed

18th Aug 2008 - Received NOA-dated the 12th

26th Aug 2008 - Received Biometrics letter

4th Sept 2008 - Biometrics-Detroit-Complete-'Touched'

5th Sept 2008 - 'Touched'

1st Dec 2008 - APPROVED-Card production ordered -112 days

8th Dec 2008 - USCIS mailed approval notice.

8th Dec 2008 - Received my 10 year Greencard in the mail. took 2 days.

Although I have the above date for approval my card actualy states the

2nd December..
