My interview is getting close...and i am starting to freak out...

It seems like about everyone having an interview in the middle east are getting placed on AR..WHY?

I am a Russian citizen... but i ve lived in Dubai United Arab Emirates for about 10 years.. and i am really scared they are going to put me on AR...

and looking from the Cheering thread there are only 2 people going through UAE and they are both on AR for months now... :crying::crying::crying:

Aug 2001- met in highschool in US

Feb 15 2006- sent I 129

Feb 17 2006- NOA1

Feb 23 2006- *touched*

April 1 2006- still waiting =(

July 10 2006- touched!!

July 11 2006- touched again!!!

July 24 2006- touched (RFE in email)

Aug. 7 2006- RFE in mail

Aug 15 2006- sent back RFE (the wait begins again)

Aug 26 2006- touched (RFE recieved)

Aug 28 2006- APPROVED!!!!!- after 192 days~!

Sep 3 2006- get NOA2 in snail mail

Sep 13 2006-NVC recieves case!!!

Sep 18 2006- NVC sents case to Embassy!!

Sep 21 2006- Embassy recieves!

Sep 27 2006- Embassy send interview packet!!

Nov 9 2006- Medical completed

Nov 20 2006- Interview APPROVED

Nov 22 2006- picking up my VISA

NOV 23 2006- leaving for ATLANTA

Don't freak out til you have to. I think in general, ladies get a little easier of a journey through this, add that to whatever background checking already took place when you moved there...you may not have anything to worry about and if you did have to wait out an extra name check or anything I wouldn't expect it to take long. No one can say, though so don't stress too much about it for now. Did you get a date yet?

15 months start to finish for cr-1 from Amman with no RFEs, ARs or other bonus hang-ups

Nov 27, 2007 Three year Annivrsary. Two more and I can apply for a Jordanian Passport, and then we're going to Cuba (Just because I can). can't wait...

The long periods of AR are for arab muslim men. Women who are arabs and/or muslim and men who are arab but not muslim have breezed through. I can imagine that a non arab non muslim woman will have an easy time as well.

02/23/08 - Filed for removal of conditions.

Sometime in 2008 - Received 10 year GC. Almost done with USCIS for life inshaAllah! Huzzah!

12/07/08 - Adopted the fuzzy feline love of my life, my Squeaky baby th_catcrazy.gif

02/23/09 - Apply for citizenship

06/15/09 - Citizenship interview

07/15/09 - Citizenship ceremony. Alhamdulilah, the US now has another american muslim!

ok thanks guys..

I was really starting to worry..

cuz i saw people waiting for months and moths,,,,...

I am just freaking out about the interview...

I was denied a student visa twice last year... so now I am scared of these interviews..
