Yes, look on the visa it is on there, i believe if it is on the left hand side should be A 123 456 789 9 digits long, my cbp agent circled it for me and wrote it on my i-94 i don't know if this is standard

Hi Mike, it should be on your NOA2 (I-129F approval)...

Mar 2011 - After 5mths denied for lost docs - Attempts to follow up failed. Mar 18 2012 - I-129F sent - No sign of NOA1 but they have banked the check...Jul 24 - Update - USCIS has located our file
Infopass Apt - they sorted through everything - our 2011 and 2012 file keep getting mixed up - getting us a Case# (still waiting) Dec- Infopass Appt- expecting to get a case # in about a week ..Still no Case number

Mar 2013 Infopass - advised file was in a box somewhere, and it would be quicker for us to refile. Life gets in the way... New petition submitted July 2014 .

oops... sorry Mike... thought you may have missed something as I sometimes do when I'm in a panic. Yes, I would check with USCIS.

It's the 'Registration Number' on the right hand side of the visa, above the visa category. It's only 8 digits in our case, but when we got the green card, they added another zero in front of it to make it 9 digits. On the green card, it's listed as the USCIS #. BTW, ours didn't begin with an 'A'. The 'registration number' on the visa is the alien registration number.

EDIT: BTW, my wife is a CR1, not a K1, so I'm not sure if K1s get them on their visa or not. If not, surely after AOS.

Its not on the Visa nor is it on the NOA2, do K-1 Visa holders get an Alien #???

I wish to reiterate what everyone is telling. Get your NOA2 (Second Notice of Approval). Kindly follow the instructions below:

On the right side you will see the following:

a) Case Type - I129F

b) Petitioner

c) Beneficiary A123 456 789

or

Get your passport. Open the page where the I-94 (Arrival/Departure Card) is being stapled. Check the back portion of the I-94 where the CBP wrote it. From there you will see the A#.

I am hoping that this helps.
