I've seen many topics on sending mail to Vietnam, but what services do you guys recommend for sending documents or packagaes from Vietnam?? I've sent letters to my wife and she recieves it within 2 weeks or so, but when she sent me a letter, it took over a month. I'm just worried when I need paperwork with her signature quickly, I can't wait a month for it.

Thanks in advanced, Long.

Yes, from VN to US. That way the VN post office is eliminated from the equation.

On the subject of sending mail to VN, I have had a couple instances where my letters/bday cards never received my fiance even though the address was correct. Not sure if the PO/govt is keeping the letters or what?? Anyone else have this happen to them?

I have never had a problem sending or recieving mail. Anh Map is right. Fedx Or UPS has a 3 day service. DHL has been slower in my experience. I've sent care packages with no problem other then being slowed down at customes using snail mail.

first and best option is hand delivered if a friend is happening to travel when the delivery is needed... funny how every trip no matter how long or short involves maximizing the allowable baggage limit.

Yes it is very common for this to happen. Some seem to never have problems for their mail to arrive at their destination and others have problems always. It probably has more to do with the local post office there. Some of the local post offices may be more diligent at making sure their mail customers get all their mail and others could care less. Either way do not use regular mail for anything of importance ever.
