Proof of marriage

I am a British Citizen, living in Germany and engaged to a U.S Citizen, I need to know the steps to getting a CR-1 Visa, we wish to marry in the near future in Germany on his next visit, can anyone explain to me the proper steps that we would have to take....the best proof of a "bonafide" marriage for instance as we share no bank accounts and my appartment is in my name only, he cannot begin any accounts in this country as he is not living here, thanks for any help given.

not sure for 100% but i believe that the marriage ceritificate will suffice for now until, you reach the us and can make joint things there

When filing the petition, include items such as phone records, pictures, emails, chat logs, evidence of trips to see each other (boarding passes, passport stamps), etc.

What Ryan suggested is what we refer to as the front loading. Most of the guys that had their interviews felt that an interview decisions look like were made prior to the interview itself in majority of the cases. Hence I strongly support the front loading of relationship evidence where possible
