Packet 3

Hello Everyone,

Just a question about k1-Fiance Visa. The US Embassy in Manila received our electronic file from NVC for I-129F on Sept. 29, 2011. My fiance paid the BPI fee and she will be doing the medical tomorrow. I was able to create a profile on the website http://cgifederal.force.com/ and it allowed me to choose and confirm and interview date. However my fiance did not receive packet 3 yet from the embassy.

My question is: Do I have to wait for packet 3 to arrive to my fiance before scheduling the interview? From what I was told, it contains forms DS156, DS156k, DS157, but those I can download from http://travel.state.gov/visa/forms/forms_1342.html

Yup...I agree with Scott...that's the only "packet" you're going to get from the U.S. Embassy Manila. However, don't wait around for it because it takes forever to arrive. Simply proceed with the medical and the interview as you are now doing.
