I have a question if anyone knows. While waiting for the Noa 2 to arrive I have already asked my employer to give me that letter that is to indicate my current salary, title.. THis was almost 1 month ago, and given that as of today I still didnt receive my NOA 2 I feel that by the time I am to present this letter in the second package it would be rather outdated. My question is in regards to this letter what is the acceptable date to have it dated. Should I ask my employer for another letter right before my interview? The problem is also that there are layoffs and restructuring plans where I work and I am not sure how this will affect me and if it will affect me, having this letter before I getting lay off (if I do) would mean that I will not need a cosigner.

Not sure if this makes sense any help would be much appreciated.

I thought about this also as I got my letter right as we started the NVC piece, but because of some planned holidays it was about 5 months later that we sent the package in. The date shouldn't be an issue as you will also include paystubs to show ongoing employment. What we did was include the paystubs up to the point we sent in the package and then took additional paystubs to the interview. Same thing with bank statements as well.

Ok it makes sense in this case instead of asking HR for another letter I will bring paystubs up to whatever that date will be. Thanks lol why didn't I think of this?!? Sometimes is good to ask for advice thank you very much!!!
