question about Sworn Affidavit from friend

hi guys,

i saw the exemple of this website about the sworn affidavit from friends, but it is kinda weird.

shall i write this part of the exemple of this website which it said :

BEFORE THE UNITED STATES CITIZENSHIP AND IMMIGRATION SERVICES

UNITED STATES DEPARTMENT OF HOMELAND SECURITY

shall we write these 2 sentenses ?

if so, then we have just to follow this exemple except that i change the info of my friend (of course)

OR

my friend can start from : Affidavit of ...(my friend's name) ?

so, what do you advice me to do ?

just help me how the affidavit must be written, for i follow the method we write affidavit.

I am not sure where you saw the example, was it on VJ?

I would address it like a normal letter, ie the friend's address at the top right, then "to Whom it May concern", then the letter itself starting with "I, First name Last name, have had the opportunity to observe Petitioner name and Beneficiary name several times..... and then a couple of paragraphs about when they've seen you together, how much in love you are etc. No more than one page per affidavit.

you asked me where i saw the exemple ! ...it is the one of VJ , you can see it in the top left of this website, just go in EXEMPLE FORMS and you will see it.

so please tell me, how shall i write it ? ... shall i follow the exemple of this website or ... ?

just show me with the most details possible please about how to write an affidavit from friend.

Yes, if you wish you can use that, including the header you mention in your first post- just change the personal info (names, dates, circumstances of meeting etc). I think it is a little formal and leaves little space for personal stories of meetings, but there's nothing wrong with it.

Might be helpful if you write a draft and post it here so we can comment. The bottom line is that the format really doesn't matter at all--it's just the content that matters--a lot !!
