Pls help anybody with these questions...

We've been in AP since June 15th...

We were in a 5 week review for our case prior to name checks.. july 25th the CO called and talked with me asking questions afterwards he said evthing is fine with our case and we have nothing to worry about and he is issuing namechecks to complete the process....

WE've made weekly calls to the DOS and each time we have had them tell us that AP is pending... just recently in the beginning of September we've been told that we are in review at the embassy (seems they answer to our questions have changed just a bit)

the last several phone calls to DOS have peaked our curiosity... each time we've been told pending at embassy, a couple of weeks ago the lady told us that we have no updates on our case and that the next one should be congratulations your visa has been issued... then the next week we were told that its at embassy pending and they are working onit... then this Monday I called and again pending at embassy, last update was august and they are working on it..

today.. i called once more and they said that we are pending at embassy and they will contact us when final decision has been made...doesnt see anything about name checks in washington says it at the embassy in pending status...

Does this sound like we may be in final review at embassy? The August update would coincide with name checks being completed within 30 days... just want some hope :(

9/9/2013 Responded to NOIR/USCIS received documents awaiting response

9/20/2013 USCIS reaffirmed sent to embassy

1/04/14 Case opened for review

8/31/15 Interview- no questions visa approved on the spot

9/8/15 visa status issued

9/10/15 visa received

9/19/15 POE Charlotte

thats what I heard right before I got approved. For the about 3 weeks prior to our approval they told me they were waiting on the embassy and eventually we were approved. DOS told us it was out of their hands and it was at the embassy level. i hope AP is over for u guys soon.

Thanks dear i hope your right... they havent said it was out of their hands but they have said this past 3 weeks it was at the embassy and we should be getting a call or email when thier decision is made... i just dont know what to make of it.. :( i just hope it sounds promising sooooon..

I can tell you that the Visa busy season is now over. July - September are the busiest travel times and unfortunately there are many more applications for Visa's at that time. Also, Embassies are in transition through the summer months. Since both the Visa busy season and the Embassy transition should be over, I am praying that these reviews will begin to go faster and I pray that it starts with yours. I know your Anniversary is October 2nd and can't imagine a better gift and a Visa in the mail. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Keep us updated!

I've been hearing the same thing for the past 4 weeks..hopefully this dreaded waiting ends for us both. All we can do is stay positive and optimistic and pray for the best! InshAllah the wait will be over soon.

Every time we callled to DOS we had the same answer Case is at Consulate from last 1 and half month, and they are working on it, when i called to Consulate a Pakistani guy said, we are working on your case and you will get a call. Insha Allah your Visa and My Visa on the way, Best of Luck:D

When I called last Friday DOS said still pending AP. I'm not bring told the same thing that you guys are. She said it was still at the embassy but I'm not being told the case is being worked on.

Maybe you guys are nearing the end of your wait. Please let us know if any of you get issued your visa.
