Hi all

I was wondering what the time frame is like with Dakar, Senegal's embassy. We were put on AP on July 28, at the interview, with a very positive assurance of a visa being issued. My husband did the interview there in Dakar while I was here in the USA. He was told to contact the embassy if 60 days had passed without any notice from them. Tomorrow it will have been 60 days.

I am aware about the possiblility of a longer period of time being needed to process the visa at this stage, but I was hoping there might be a few of you that have had your AP go by within or around this 60 day time frame.

Like many of you, we have already been apart over one year now, and we are anxious to start our new life together. I would like to add that even though this has been one of the most difficult times in both our lives, we have both grown closer to God and each other during this journey. I feel like we have passed a sort of trial by fire that has purified our bond. Our love is something eternal and without doubt essential in our destiny. It's like everything in life has lead us up to this certain point ....... and at this point we reflect a little in appreciation for all this and then venture forward until we are together again.

Many blessings and prayers to you all on this difficult but challenging journey.
