Its coming! leaving for london tomorrow night. Getting the sleeper, getting a mcdonalds breakfast then straight to the embassy!

printed outs screeds and screeds of evidence, and now ready to roll!

Feels like its come dead quick when it really hasn't, being 7 months and all :-P

A question... is the photo place in goulds? or the embassy itself?

Wow you are coming all the way from Scotland and I live 15 minutes walking distance from the Embassy!!

Congrats and good luck on Monday ....and your photos you can get at :thumbs: Goulds Pharmacy next to the Embassy.

July 2010 - Hubby and our children moved back to USA (for work etc)

Nov 2010 - Visited for 3 weeks (it hurts like mad to be away from them)

June 2011 - visited for 4 weeks

26th June 2011 -I-130 Express Mail to Chicago

28th June 2011- I-130 Chicago signed for package

12th July - Returned to UK..

29th June 2011 - USCIS informed me Noa1 mailed on 29th June

2nd July 2011 - Touched

8th August 2011 - Expedite approved

12th August 2011 - Touched

12th August 2011 - The dreaded RFE!

9th September 2011 - RFE received by CSC - being reviewed!

13th September 2011 - USCIS approved

19th September 2011 - NVC received file.

4th October 2011 - NVC # assigned, emailed dob amendment email (amended now), emailed DS-3032, Logged into payment portal (not invoiced), booked medical - 20th October

5th October 2011 - Emailed expedite

6th October 2011 - 2 emails from NVC (expedite and ds-3032 responses)

- SIF at payment portal.

7th October 2011 - expedite approved

12th October 2011 - case left NVC (nice birthday present!)

Two is correct. I haven't been to Gould's but I've seen frantic posts asking immigrant or non-immigrant because

Gould's seem to call their choices something like that. No clue what the difference would be. You need photos that are 2 inches by 2 inches so ask the specs if in doubt.

They only used one!!! I bought four cause I wasnt able to check this before I went. thats annoying!

I got approved reasonably quickly and I didnt have to provide any of the evidence I printed. Will write a review when I get home :-)

what annoyed me about the day was that there was an embassy worker shouting to the queue outside that they all needed a ds160 or they wouldnt get in. I asked some girls next to me and they all had this thing in colour print with a photo and I had never seen it before. I freaked out cause I thought I was so prepared, went to goulds, paid for internet and one of the guys was like "go back! you dont need that!" thankfully I did and was also refunded for the internet session :-P

Do they just assume everyone is a non immigrant? haha.

yeah I will keep the pictures but the contrast is a bit off.

wonder when I will get the visa. the embassy lady said 8-10 working days and the couriers said 3-5. I am guessing its 5 cause that seems to be the current trend on here!

I want to go on the 5th as it will be exactly 3 months since I saw my love!
