If it were me, I'd submit the translations and the originals to the NVC as they request. The apostille translations should be good enough for them. If you have any doubts, then without hesitation call NVC tomorrow for clarification and peace of mind. It's confusing here when you get contradictory advice so when in doubt, call!

Sorry I'm not more help!

Bob

Thank you I will do so

Can I do it? Seriously that would be great but then I needed to notarized.

Yes you can do it. There is no need nor requirement to notarize it. A notary simply verifies signatures not content. Use the form below as have many. The certification is the statement.

Certification by Translator

I [typed name], certify that I am fluent (conversant) in the English and ________ languages, and that the above/attached document is an accurate translation of the document attached entitled ______________________________.

This format has been accepted by USCIS many times. What purpose would it serve to translate a document that wasnt your information? These translated documents are to be used in the USA in the future I believe.

If you know for sure about some special requirment for the embassy in Turkey you could explain please.

These papers are not for USCIS its for NVC

i already explained it in turkish as well if you check a look above you can see it

all papers needs to be translated from turkish to english and also needs to be apostilled

Apostille: a document approved by the reality of another country as a legal document which allows the use of a certification system.

I don't know of anyone else filing in Turkey who did it this way. I had them translated by a friend and signed statement. However, they state clearly on their website and NVC, the documents for Turkey do not require it. Where did you read this apostille requirement?

it does not exactly say it in the web site and your case is different type of visa

there are alots of things to do different between CR1 and K1

For example it says PCC and required but you cant find this paper in turkey its called Sabika kaydi

I did it this way bec when i received RFE from NVC it was exactly this paper!!

So i m an experienced about it

its worth to do it if you would like to avoid to get a RFE so i suggest it

Apostille is Free does not cost a thing I also explained what apostille means

its up to you guys im not try to put someone in trouble

thats what i exprienced when i got RFE

But you got the RFE because you were missing this document. Not because it wasn't translated. Isn't that right?

But you got the RFE because you were missing this document. Not because it wasn't translated. Isn't that right?

i think you seems confused the Apostille is not a translated document

Sorry i m from turkey and my english is kinda broken so i will try to explain it

Apostille is using for the paper you got from your own country when you are ready to send this paper to another country it needs to be apostille bec apostille means this paper will be able to use it out of your own country

NO i did not get RFE bec of missing document i sent all of papers and every each papers are translated but there was not an apostille

but those paper were not have an apostille

The document must be an original, or a certified copy of

the original, bearing the original seal or stamp from the issuing authority

The document you submitted is not an original or certified copy of an original issued by the appropriate

government authority. The document must be an original, or a certified copy of the original, bearing the

original seal or stamp from the issuing authority.

so for sure all papers needs to be apostille

if you are not sending an orginal which i did not send my marriage certificate orginal bec of afraid they might lose it bec it happened

anyways if you would not like to send an orginal marriage certificate it needs to be a notary public is as essential
