Hello Everyone! quick question, pls.

If your fiance does not need to send you money coz you're pretty much capable of handling your own expenses, is that considered a RED FLAG?

Thanks in advance for your replies.

Has no bearing at all. I see it as a benefit not showing Western Union payments to support you.

You already have your NOA2 so your next step is the interview. It does not matter who pays the fees. What they will want to see is the Petitioners 134 and income to support you in the US. Nothing else. Thats what it will come down too. Not about sending money to you.

Just that his income is enough for your Petition.

My husband never sends me anything and they never asked me during the interview and I got approved. I guess it depends on the circumstances. If you met online, probably they will ask. But if they see you have a good paying job, then that's fine.

No that would not be considered as a red flag.

I don't think it is a red flag. In my case, I have to share expenses with my Fiance knowing that my 2 kids will also travel with me, in case we get approved. I thank God I do have a very good job here and so eversince I wasn't really dependent with my Fiance. And I do think my Fiance has to save money so when we finally live together we have something nice to start with. So no problem I guess if you have the capability, the more it is better because marriage involves true commitment and sincerity. :)

I dont think it is anyway a red flag. I send my fiance money every month to help her. I think it just helps show a relationship.

somehow i find your reply conflicting (1st it's not a red flag and then it is.)... but like i said it's not a crime for some ladies to be able to take care of their own financial needs. regarding our proof of relationship, i think we have more than enough to show them.

Thanks for your reply. Good luck! yes.gif
