hello

today my husband received an email from uscis:

Your petition was forwarded to the National Visa Center (NVC) on ....., for consular processing. As of this date, we have not received the petition back from NVC for review. Once the CSC receives the petition back from the NVC, we will send a notice of receipt to the address of record.

For questions regarding your petition, you will need to contact the National Visa Center. Please send any further correspondence to the following address: NVC, 31 Rochester Avenue, Portsmouth, NH 03801-2909. Direct any telephone inquiries to (603) 334-0700. You can also email the NVC at NVCINQUIRY@state.gov

try emailing the US embassy office in Morrocco and see if they have an update? If you send the email, most are pretty good for getting back to you. Try to see if the embassy has changed the AP status or give you an update of what is going on? If they dont answer the email, the try getting someone on the phone.

First find out where you packet is at, email the NVC and have them email you back then once you have both the emails from the USCIS and NVC. Then email the embassy and tell them that both those agencies have forwarded your case to their location (forward the emails). I would email and if consulate does not respond then call them, I prefer to have all communication with these agencies via email to have a paper trail.

Sounds like the USCIS did their part and is forwarding the case to the NVC but it can take a few days to be processed at the NVC. If you called the same day then perhaps it has not been logged into their system yet and all they see is the last time they sent it to the consulate.

Also when you call DOS double-check who has the file, they can see what agency has the file.

Good luck,
