Hello! my husband don't meet the 125% for the I864 he's my petitioner. Last year he earned $18,000 but he's on 1099 form. In the tax return his income was only around $11,000. And this year he's only working part time because he went back to school which means he'll earn less money. Im expecting to earn at least $21,000 this year. If I include my income in the I-864 will it be enough? Poverty guideline shows for two people at least $18,387.

In case this isn't enough we were gonna list my cousin as joint sponsor, but she sponsored her husband two years ago, he got his visa approved las year. Does anybody knows if this will be a problem? Can someone sponsor two people at the same time? I don't want to cause them any trouble.

Thannks!

Unless you can prove that your income will continue even after you move to the USA, your income cannot count towards the I-864.

You won't have problems with using your cousin as a joint sponsor as long as she meets the income requirements for herself, her husband, any children they may have, plus you.
