Hi guys,

Does anyone here know about the barcode sheet required by NVC?? My husband's attorney is confused, he's still asking the NVC by sending them email, he didn't just call them. he got my docs last week as well as my husband's. He always said to my husband that NVC has a new system. Please advise. Thanks for your help

If the AOS and IV fees were paid electronically--sounds like your lawyer might still be using a quill pen--then you can go to this site to print the bar codes, but you do need the NVC case number and IIN to access the site. Call NVC and get them, in case your lawyer doesn't know what they are or how to deal with it.

I honestly don't know if this site is accessible if everything was done through the mail--I'm sure someone else will know the answer to that question.

From what I understand, the payment portal is available to everyone. The electronic submission of documents, however, is not. If the OP's lawyer sent payment through the post, then she (or her husband) should not re-pay through the payment portal.

Holding my nose and jumping off the cliff.. hope I don't hit any rocks in the water.

Thanks for the info, I really appreciate it. We have paid AOS and IV online already, got the docs translated and sent to our lawyer, but sometimes he's too busy with other clients too and put our case on the last of his list. The site is weird beacuse it says form DS-261 is CHOICE OF ADDRESS AND AGENT while the form I got from the lawyer is DS-3032, CHOICE OF ADDRESS AND AGENT. So confusing and frustrating. :(

Thanks, our lawyer had paid the payment online over 3 weeks ago and he'll send the package to NVC today
