After the interview My fiancee was given a green paper which says, "Your visa application is on Pending" and a phone # that she can call if the embassy don't get back to her. The interviewing officer told my fiancee she wants to contact USE at Addis Ababa, Ethiopia to make sure why the previous petition was denied. Is this mean that the visa application is under administrative review? Is there a difference between a pending visa application and administrative review? How soon is good to call the embassy? Is it Okay to call and check with DOS while the visa application is still in pending at the embassy?

Thank you for your input. It is very helpful than ever. I am frustrated on this waiting game.

Hello

I do understand what you are going thru.

Iam going thru the same here.

Well I have been calling the the embassy once a week, I dont think there is no time

you have to wait. They will tell you if it is still pending or if it is sent some where.

Yes you can call DOS and they will either back the embassy claim or tell you where the case is. The people at DOS

will tell you, you can call them any time you like as many times you like. The people at DOS cant give you much info

but it will help you to stay cailm.

I am now also getting my Rep office involved so you can call them and ask advice from them and see what they will tell you

mine is going to look into things.

God bless you and take care. God is with us all I pray for you and yours...
