If my husband gets another interview after his review, I want travel to be with him, but I dont have a baby sitter there. Does anybody no if the embassey in Nigeria will let a child in the building he is 9 years old. I cannot leave him alone in a foreign country. That would be scary for him as well as myself. All his family members will be working. Please let me no before I take such a long journey and then they say "no children".

I am sure your baby will be safe at the hands of the family of the beneficiary.Nevertheless,if your kid is a citizen,he sure will be allowed into the lagos embassy.but mind you,you cant attend the interview with your spouse/fiancee

Remeber that you are not allowed into his interview , you both will be waiting outside.

No I will have no problem attending the interview. They welcome the foreign spouses, I am just concerned about my child not being able to attend.

When I was at the embassy in Lagos, there was a woman with a young child in the waiting area. But to have a child attend interview, I am not sure. As NigeriaorBust asked, is this interview for you to be present at the embassy with your husband? I am not clear on that. Or are you trying to just accompany your husband when he is there for his interview?

The other thing I can suggest, send in an email to the embassy and ask. Hopefully, they will reply.

Good luck!

I am only going to accompany him. Yes Lagos Nigeria does allow the spouse to attend the interview, that i am sure of, but i don't about children. I n case they want proof of me visiting him they can see me in person.

No spouses are allowed inside for the interview.

I believe you may go to the embassy with him, but to enter the interview, I think he is going to go in by himself. I have not heard of any US spouse or fiance being able to go into the interview with the beneficiary. If I am wrong? please someone correct me, thanks.

Either way, if you are in the building and there, it speaks a lot for your relationship. This is a fact. Good luck and you are in my prayers. God be with you.
