September Bangkok schedules are up.

Wouldn't you know, our case made the list!!

Funny thing is we never received packet four. However we did receive confirmation via email. This was only due to us being a bit proactive and requesting some information around a week after sending in packet three.

It looks like 6 other cases on our day. Best of luck to all of you!!

Based on my understanding, there has not been a truly nasty CO since early 2009. In most cases, they have already made their decision regarding the visa before the interview has even started. Usually, only a few questions will be asked to ensure everything adds up. If you find yourself in a long interview, well, that is a sign of trouble. No need to really practice, unless it gives you piece of mind, Just tell the truth and if all of your other evidence is sufficient, you'll be fine.

Yeah my wife was the recepient of that bald headed jerk back in 2009. Thank god he's gone. I had to show up in person to finally get the deal done. As well as taking a bunch of photos.

I agree with this. The recent cases that I know of where I had contact with the immigrant after the interview indicate exactly this. The wicked witch is dead.

There is nothing to practice really. The few questions are simple. The case is decided based on the docs unless they find a reason to look further. If there is a serious problem the interview will either be delayed or the visa wont be issued until it cleared up.

rsn is correct. Just step up to the window & tell the truth. They know people are nervous so no need to worry too much.

We're on the September list with about 11 others. Is 12 all they can do in a day?

I've asked this in another thread but am still unsure. We made our appointment at Bumrungrad. The hospital told us to bring Form DS-2053, which is the expired version, while the embassy website has the new DS-2054. Some people have said the embassy took the 2053 this year. But I have also heard of people being sent back to the hospital to transcribe the form. Does anyone else have recent experience with the medical form?

I think what you got emailed is packet 4. Pui received packet 3 in the mail and we were both emailed that letter. Pui just printed the letter and gave that to the guards on the day of her interview. Good luck with your upcoming interview.

Thanks for the updates folks! How long after you said you have the police and medical until the interview day? is it still 2 months or so out? TY and will be in BKK again shortly-love Thailand!

While illegals invade the USA and get free benefits, we wait paying fees and filling out forms while the illegals fill out zero-thank you US politicians!

Waiting on interview now in BKK, started Jan 2011
