Visiting the spouse in home country

Hello Hello,

I just purchased a ticket to visit my husband in the UK. It's my first time going to visit him as his wife and I'm kind of scared to be hassled by immigration officers. I'm afraid they will think I'm there to stay and not to leave. Should I take anything with me to prove I'm not going there to stay? I should be focusing more on the excitement to seeing him but I just want to go prepared and avoid any problems I may encounter.

taking proof of intent to return home is always a good idea and having that proof could save you from a lot of questions and help speed up going through customs

Make sure that you have a return ticket. Also, you can have your employer write a letter stating that you are an employee in good standing and the date that you are expected to return to work. There may be other things you could take, but these are the only two I can think of at this time. :-)
