Check cashed but NOA1

My check was cashed over a week ago and I am able to log into USCIS with the account number on the back of my check and see that the package was recieved on the 1st of September. However I still have not recieved an NOA1 in the mail. Also I have not recieved any "touches" or even a email saying that I am registered in the system after I started my account. Has anyone else encountered this. I know they have not nessesarily made any "touches" on my case yet but shouldn't I recieve an NOA1?

Normally, you should. However, I know few people that didn't recieve NOA1, instead, they got approval letter.
