Is it possible to get some type of temp permit to be able to work til we can get approved for an actual EAD? If she has to go to a certain airport, pls comment, thank you! Also if it's not possible, any other ideas for her to work so she is not bored? She is very concerned about being without a job for 3 months. Any advice would greatly be appreciated. Thank you and God Bless!

I don't think so. You can let her sell all YOUR Personal Stuff on E-Bay in your Account Name. That will keep her busy. You know she's going to say: We don't need this, we don't need that. I'll just sell it.

It is not worth it getting an EAD prior to you getting her AOS done and her green card. You pay to get the work permit but it expires when her I-94 expires which is

90 days from when she enters on her K-1 visa and it takes about 60 days to get it. So, it isn't cost effective. When you file your AOS you will also file for the EAD

concurrently and the fee is waived. Perhaps get her to do volunteer work and maybe English class through your local community college.

Is she driving? if so it wont be a problem to go to work once she gets her EAD. The only document she will need to legally work is the EAD while waiting for her green card which will take about 3 months.

If she is not driving then she will have plenty of time to concentrate on practicing.

I did Ebay when i first came her for a year coz i got pregnant but it is not a permanent income though
