Hello everyone! I've been going around this site from the start of our K1 journey and i thought i knew it all but then when our petition got approved i started to be anxious  and seems i dont know what to do next. LOL! Anyway, we already have our MNL number from NVC, and the embassy emailed us saying that they already received the electronic records from the State Department’s National Visa Center on August 11, 2011. Once they receive the physical file, they will send me the instructions regarding the scheduling of a visa interview appointment. I know i can already do my medical at St. lukes with MNL # and scanned copy of NOA2 but can i already schedule my interview with out the letter from embassy? until now i haven't received anything from them. Thanks for your time guys! God bless! :)

i think im right in saying that the embassy will send you packet 3 which is the instruction packet and will list everything that you need to take to the embassy. you then send a form to the embassy telling them that you are ready for interview and they then send you packet 4 which will include your interview date :)

I received my MNL case # by August 2 and had my medical last August 15-16. I scheduled online for my interview last August 13 and will have my interview on Sept.1. You can have your medical and pay at BPI when you have your MNL# already. Good luck

I haven't received anything from them too. No letter of eligibility yet. But it's not really important. Some had their interview without it.

There is no need to wait. We never received ANYTHING from USEM, no email, no letters, no packet 3, 4 or anything. Just be aware that when you do your medical, your 6 months to arrive in the US begins THEN, not when the interview is done.

This may help, this is what I did, We got NVC approval and Manila number on the Aug 9th, I tracked it and the Embassy received it on the 12th, had my asawa go to BPI and pay fee for interview, they only ask for her passport number. We had a slight delay for a few days due to a mishap, with the BPI entering her passport number wrong, putting a o when is should have been a zero. got that straightened out and scheduled the interview on the 19th, Have the interview scheduled for Sept 2nd, By the way I scheduled it on the phone was real easy and they e-mail you the confirmation. She is getting her medical done on the 23rd and CFO on 25th. So within 10 days of getting my NVC notice.have the interview scheduled. even with the delay of the BPI. she has never received anything yet, just did not to wait around.

Call USEM to see if they already received your case, if they did, you can start scheduling for the visa interview. :) After I paid the MVR fee at a BPI branch, I applied for an interview schedule online. You don't have to wait for the letter from USEM, it takes a while to receive it from them.

This might help:
