Dear All,

I would like to ask everyone here, specifically the F3 category immigrants, on their experience with their DS-230 with NVC. Kindly help me with the following queries:

1. Did the NVC inform you by email or post when your case was completed by NVC? I submitted mine(completed DS230 and supporting docs)last week of June 2011 and did not hear from them, I then decided to call the NVC helpline and the automated service said the case was completed on 10 August 2011. I did not get any email or written communication. Is this normal?

2. What happens next? My Priority Date is 7 April 1994, and the current PD is 22 April 1992. Does this mean I have to wait for my PD to be current even though my case was completed by NVC?

I would like to know the experience of other F3's who have their case completed but awaiting PD to become current and also those who are "in the know" on this issue.

Thank you all in advance for reading and I wish you all the best in your journey :)

You will not be eligible for an interview until your priority date is current so it looks like you have a litte more to wait. But the biggest part of the wait is over.

This will not be over quickly. You will not enjoy this.

The NVC will only contact you by sending a RFE if there is a problem.

Thanks for your help. This retrogression is a real dissapointment.
