To begin with I want to thank all the members in this forum who help me and my fiance by answering our question.

Day 1:

I flew from México city at 6:30am to Ciudad Juarez , I arrived at 8:20 Juarez time they are an hour behind Mexico’s time.

As soon as I got out of the plane, me and my mom (who came with me) took a cab from the airport to the medical clinic for 245 pesos (20 dollars) you pay that inside the airport and it’s a safe cab .

So after a 15 minutes ride we made it to the clinic thanks to the reviews! I knew what they asked for:

1. appointment confirmation letter

2. invitation letter from the consulate

3. passport

After they look at my documents they let me in and there was 2 man with kid one had 2 kids and the other 4! :o lol so they took a few mins with them I was getting inpatient but that’s just me im not really patient and also I was nervous… anyways few mins after was my turn a lady looked at my documents again and told me to go a window in the same room where they took a pic and made me sign.

Once that was done I walk in to another area like a waiting room with lots of chair there wasn’t many people! thanks god. They made me go sit down to where they take your blood it was quick and it didn’t hurt much :P. And again I came back to the waiting room and wait for a guy to call me for sight test I got 20 20 :D also was fast!.

Again I went to sit down and wait for they to call me again so I waited about 20 minutess and they made me go in to another room where I was asked to take all my clothes off, few minutes later a female doctor came in to weight and measure me , after she was done with that, asked me some questions: Have you ever had heart problems, asthma , migraines , surgery ,do you take any birth control pills, have you ever had problems with the police in Mexico , do you have any tattoos , have you ever had piercings besides the ones on your ears, and others I can´t remember then she said you can put your pants and undies on :P yes! She didn’t look at my privates lol.

Chest rays was next that takes like a min and after that u can finally put all your clothes on :D. Then I was told to go the vaccines room and that they wasn’t going to give me any since K Visas applicants don’t need them. so I went there, they give you a little piece of paper with barcode at the beginning of the medical so don’t lose that!, at the vaccine´s room I was told how much I had to pay and where. They also gave me a sucker which I thought was silly since I am not a little girl lol BUT no they don’t give it to you because they being nice they give that to you because they took your blood and that makes you dizzy! Like me lol so suck the sucker you need some sugar so you don’t feel dizzy like I did! Specially if you didn’t have breakfast before going there .

They also told me to go back at 2 pm to pick up the results.

Was almost 10:00 am when I was done with the medical and I was really hungry!

Me and my mom went to the mall that its in front the medical and ate something there, look around then went to starbucks until 1:50.

I crossed the street to the clinic and got in line there wasn’t many people either and 5 mins later they let us in, make us sit down in the waiting room, then they went to get everybody´s results and start to handle them to us. They didn’t have mine yet so together with others I had to wait again which took a while probably longer than the medical exam.

Finally I got mine in a black plastic envelope with red letters that says DO TO OPEN! So I didn’t open it duhh .

Then was time to go to the hotel. We stayed at La quinta 3 km away from the consulate so not so far ;) they were amazing with us I can´t complain at all! they were friendly and help us a lot. Two nights for 110 dollars, not as cheap as the other hotels around the consulate thou. But ill recommend it , they also have shuttle and the driver likes to talk haha he was fun.

Day 2:

My ASC appointment was at 3pm that its besides the consulate, first youll see the sala de espera and at the end youll see the CSC office it’s a small one. There was a lot of people waiting I almost thought I missed my appointment since I got there at 2:55 BUT I didn’t .

You´ll need:

1.passsport

2.appointment confirmation letter

3.invitation letter

4.confirmation form DS-260

They will take finger prints and picture here, it doesn’t take long but if there´s many people it could take longer. And also they would put a sticker on your DS-260 form.

DAY 3:

Interview day

My interview was at 7:15 so I was at the sala de espera that it´s besides the consulate by 6:40 they look at my documents and told me to go to the consulate, there wasn’t many people either only 4 people in front of me. Then they look at my documents again: passport ,invitation letter, confirmation letter ,the DS-260 , DS-156, DS-156K and the black envelope then finally was able to get in the consulate at the beginning looks like an airport area lol don’t take anything made of metal not even earings ! Just what u need for the interview like I did :D. just few steps later they took my invitation letter and confirmation letter and gave me a number I think they took my DS-260 I cant remember sorry . Walk to waiting “room” its not really a room :P, there was screen where number and the window you should go appeared so you could go inside where they were gonna look once again to your documents :o. They let women and kids go inside to where all the windows are.

And finally I saw my number on the screen, went to the window with a girl who asked for all my forms: DS-156 2 copies, DS-156k one copy I took 2 , my birth certificate, payment receipt, and the form where it say you intent to marry within the 90 days (she didn’t ask for my fiancee´s intent letter) passport and made me sing the forms while she was looking at my documents she asked me if me or my fiance have been married before and if we had any kids then she was like ok you can go sit down just wait until you see your number again to continue with this interview.

I went to sit down again I kept looking at the screen I was really nervous too. I waited a while then I feel the need to use the restroom :P but I was afraid to miss my turn so I wait a little longer and still no number on the screen so I decided to go to the restroom, I felt I missed my turn because I was the first people I got into the consulate and it took 2 hours to see my number on the screen.

ANYWAYS after those looooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong 2 hrs finally saw my number and I even double check if It was really my number (like if I didn’t know I still remember the freaking number got stuck on my head haha) . I took a deep breath and got up went to the window I was called. There was this young redheaded guy ill say about 25 he was nice and friendly , then he told me to raised my right hand and swear to say the true and this are the questions I was asked:

Who is your petitioner?

why do you want to get married to your fiance? because i love him soo much *gigle* gigle* ( the interviewer laugh bc of the way i said it lol)

When and how did we meet? On a application from facebook june 2009

What does he do?

Where does he live?

How many time have you seen eachother? He went to visit me to Tennessee when I was living there and he have been here in mexico .

So you have a visa? No

When did you enter to the U.S? nov 2006

For how long?3 years

When did you moved out? Nov 2009

Why did you move out in nov 2009? So It didn’t passed the 180 days after my 18 birthday

When its your birthday?june 13 (he count start counting )

Well congratulations your visa its APPROVED :D your visa will be send to you within 10 days!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

All I did was say thank you so much and walk away I didn’t realize he said you was approved until I walked away so I smile and felt like the happiest girl ever!!

The time and effort that you've taken to write this review are admirable, si man. More people should do this, because (1) it helps relieve some of the uncertainty of what will happen, and (2) the insights of individual experiences are extremely valuable to others. Thanks and congratulations again, si man!
