How to get to Medical

So I'm told I have to get to London - Bond Street station for my medical on Wednesday. I'm trying to prebook tickets from where I am but I'm so lost.

I'm traveling from Coventry Rail Station and probably into London-Huston, I have no idea where to go from there.

If anyone can direct me to a site that could help, it would be greatly appreciated

i think the best way is to book tickets from coventry to london euston and then buy your tube ticket on the day. www.tubeplanner.com will tell you the route to take

Do you mean London Euston?

From there you can get the Victoria Line to Oxford Circus then change to the Central Line and get off at Bond Street. Should be about 15 mins from Euston to the medical place.

So cheapest I have so far is National Express coach from Coventry to London Victoria, then hop on the underground to Oxford and walk from Oxford station.

Is that about right?

i will be using national express when i go too... train prices from leeds are just scandalous lol.

its only a 10 minute walk from oxford circus so yeah you could do that

Many coaches that come into London stop on Baker St on the way to Victoria. If you can get off at a "London Baker St / Gloucesters Pl" stop, you are very close to the medical and can walk. Baker St coming in and Gloucester Place going out of town are one way streets parallel to each other.

Look at this map. Knightsbridge is marked with a red cross. Baker and Gloucester streets are in orange. The marker for Lincoln House is on Gloucester and Baker is to the right of it. Maybe you could ask your coach driver if he stops on Baker near George St and save all the tube riding from Victoria to get back to that part of town. We road a coach into Victoria then struggled our way back to Lincoln House only to discover we could have gotten off and walked one short block and been there 45 min earlier. At least we figured out our coach left from near the hotel front door and we didn't have to go back to Victoria.

Check out Megabus too. The National Express fares are pretty similar, but depending on the exact time you want to travel you might save a £1 or £2 (literally lol). Also they do seem to have a couple of Megatrain options listed for Wednesday, £9 each way. (Just search for the bus, and it'll show you the train options too.) You might need to get the bus in the morning and the train in the evening, don't think there's a train in the morning, but will save you a couple hours of travelling :-)

Also, don't know if you can guarantee the Coventry coach stopping at Baker St. You'd want to check with the coach company before banking on that happening.
